Fire

AIM:   To train employees in the duties and responsibilities of a fire warden in accordance with the statutory fire regulations.

The course will cover the following elements:

  • Fire regulations and employers responsibilities
  • Types of fire fighting equipment and their uses
  • Carrying out fire inspections
  • Causes of fire and prevention
  • Evacuation procedures
  • Evacuation of elderly and disabled persons
  • Liaison with fire services
  • Training staff to deal with fires

Recording procedures for inspections and evacuation practices

This course is of half a day duration and can be conducted on clients premises.   The course is designed to accommodate a maximum of 8 delegates.
